Born on 2nd December 1985, Okwara Evans C,C is from Imo State, Nigeria. His remarkable academic journey commenced in 1989 when he attended African Primary School, Ajegunle Apapa Lagos. He was appointed the Health Prefect of the school given his noticeable sense of responsibility and brilliance. He then proceeded to Awodi-Ora Secondary School, between 1994 to 2000, whereas a science student, he was again recognized for his academic flare with the Assembly (Chapel) Prefectship. From 2001 to 2003, he got on to the University of Nigeria Nsukka, where his stellar performance in a diploma program earned him credit in Computer Education in the then Department of Vocational Teacher Education, now the Faculty of Vocational Education. Later, from 2004 to 2007, he went in full-time to secure a Second Class Upper Computer Education in the same department.

 

He established himself as an adept teacher of some distinction when he joined Royal Comprehensive Secondary School Sokoto where he taught Computer Science. His quest for knowledge fired him on, after serving his father's land in the compulsory NYSC program, to pursue a Masters degree in Database Management System in Nasarawa State University. More importantly, two years later,. He furthered this feat when, in 2011, he joined one of the most elite school in Abuja, Faith Academy Goshen and became, first; hostel warden,  boarding house master, and later; Record Officer, Examination Offficer, Quality Assurance Officer and then; the Vice Principal Academics. He continued as the Vice Principal Academics, spanning from 2013 to 2018, and was subsequently appointed the Principal of the school from 2018 to 2022. His trailblazing records earned him the accolades of the pioneer-owners of Faith Academy Network of schools that he then was appointed the principal Faith Academy CanaanLand, Ota, Ogun State, where he is currently shining light-emitting diode of knowledge and mentorship on his students and staff.

 

Mr. Okwara Evans has in his coffers various prestigious awards for his contribution towards the advancement of education in Nigeria. He is a member of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria. He is married with two children.
